In 30 of these countries, a visa is issued on arrival. In another 26 countries, an electronic travel authorisation (eTA) is required. In the remaining 113 countries and territories, a visa is not required.

Maltese citizens only need to register at their place of residence in another Schengen member state to stay there for more than 90 days.
